Before the year ends, I'd like to do a flashback of how my 2015 went. This is the annual year ender post that I do. So if the 2013 post was about the highlights of my year and the 2014 post was more of staying positive and lessons that I learned, then 2015 is both! I've been doing a lot of looking back and even if I don't tell you, you might have already figured out that a LOT can change in a span of twelve months. A LOT. (I just want to emphasize the amount of changes that happens) After the end of every year you happen to be a different person. You are an improved, stronger and wiser you!

2015 Highlights

The transition to college from high school was a major thing this year. Changing to a different school and of course the whole college environment was so new to me (this isn't the first time I mentioned this) and I had to make adjustments from time to time.
I decided that I shouldn't waste opportunities when they came to me, so I agreed to sign up as a writer in the student publication in school and to my surprise I got in after the screening exam and the panel interview. So always open your hearts to opportunities!
I had the guts to also try out for the volleyball team and it was wonderful experience. Scary at first but it was all worth it in the end.
If you love traveling but is not financially capable yet, then why not go to domestic places right? I was able to visit places this year namely Dumaguete, Bacolod and Manila.
And who wouldn't forget my candy mag feature this year? It wasn't such a big deal but everybody started calling me the candy girl and I had no choice but to embrace it.

2015 Life Lessons

This year I learned to value family. It has been so long since I've seen my family complete at home and we were for a month or so the last summer but it didn't last long because life keeps happening. It is at times like this when you start to realize that family always comes first.
I've really learned to prioritize my studies before anything else this year. I learned to value education, and to never stop learning. Wait this sounds like a motto from my school or something. Well we are taught to be life-long learners in school. Haha now I know where I got this from.
I learned to keep old friends.We have completely separated with my best friends in high school because we've chosen different career paths but once we reunite our bond never changes. It seems like college never happened to us.
Make new friends. One thing in college that amazes me the most is how diverse people are. You get to meet people from different places and from different walks of life. Always grab the opportunity to make friends.
I have also learned that one great thing can lead to another. So never give up on your goals and aspirations because as one door opens, multiple doors start to open for you too.
I love my blog and my blog readers. This seems a bit selfish but allow me because I always seem to forget that I have an obligation to fill in this virtual space of mine. So I just want you to know that I love what I'm doing and I love you, my blog readers. A lot of you have been sending me messages and complimenting me here and there.You don't know how much I appreciate all of it, thank you.

Lastly, I have also taken into consideration, being a youtuber. I enjoy watching them and I think it would be fun to make videos as well. Please let me know if you think I can AT LEAST try to become a youtuber by leaving a comment or telling me through any of my social media accounts.

I hope you all enjoyed the holidays because I did and I can't wait for the new year. It's time to rebuild ourselves again.

Interview with BloggersPH

Hello there! I have not posted an entry for the months of June and July. To suffice my lack of posts here are answers to interview questions I had with BloggersPH. Plus I included photos from the recent summer at Circa 1900 - Lahug,Cebu City.

It's been quite a while and I just realized how much dormant this blog has become. I'm really trying my best to keep this updated as I could because I would never turn my back on you, readers. Remember that. *winks*

1. What / Who inspired you to start your own blog?

I was a fan of a lot of bloggers and I enjoyed reading and getting inspired by their blogs. So one afternoon, I was bored and I was in search of a new kind of passion and I believe that it was just about time that I start my own blog.

2. How did you get started?

I asked help from my sister Monica Posadas from Monica blogs since she has been in the blogging world for sometime already. She almost did everything for me and she was very supportive as well.

3. What is the main topic/subject of your blog, and why?

Blissfulinpink is me as a style blogger. It is about how I like to dress in different occasions and times in my life and from the title itself, the clothes I wear are mostly in the color palette of pinks. I also include hints of my life like events and insights that I wanted to share and just about anything that would cater the wants of my readers.

4. What are the tools that you're currently using on your blog (e.g., Blogspot, WordPress, Tumblr, plugins, etc.)?

I use blogspot? I don’t know what else to include since I don’t have the knowledge when it comes to the technical side.

5. What is the one tip that you can share to someone who wants to start a blog?

Keep the passion burning, love what you blog.

Four Things I Learned in High School

It's June and I created this post in relation to the back to school season. I already left high school for good last march since I belong to the old curriculum and I could tell you that I had the best four years in high school. Each year, I learned one major lesson and this is what this blog post is about. Plus I'll be putting up throwback photos from each year.

Change is good.

Coming from the grade school department and now being a part of the high school was not an easy transition. I didn't know anything about high school so I was scared. I was very insecure. I didn't know who I was and I didn't how I'd fit in. I didn't understand most of the things that was happening around me but one thing's for sure, the change was good. The change taught me a lot of lessons and that it was all part of growing up. In the later part of the year, I was able to love high school.

Be open to new friends.

You're gonna meet friends you'd keep for the rest of your high school life and even after high school. I met mine on my second year. At first, it was tough being in different sections with my old friends but then I made sure that we still kept in touch. I met amazing girls who I never thought I'd be friends with. I'm grateful to have them because they sure are a foundation of love and support. They're the type of girls who give the right amount of confidence in me. If you don't have these friends, you can be this kind of friend! Everyone would love to have a friend like this.

Find Yourself.

My third year was a bit more subtle, no huge surprises in between or major changes. It was a year I found myself through this blog. This blog was born and it was still very underground back then, I never showed anyone. I was able to learn about my style and my love for fashion was deeply developed. I also learned about the importance of being independent and empowered as a girl.

Senior year was the year I felt like I really blossomed. From being this really shy girl who seldomly talks in class to the girl who leads the whole class. Teachers knew about me and I was given responsibilities. A lot of them. I learned to to put others before me and to serve my class. I made sure I gave my best in everything because it was my last year in high school and I wanted it to be unforgettable.

To my dear readers who are in high school or about to go in high school, I hope you've learned something from this post! High school is a long and tough ride but with the right amount of confidence, class and motivation you'd surely reach your goals and be the best version of yourself.
